In September, I'm starting an MA at York University in Science and Technology Studies. I recently graduated from McGill with a Bachelor of Arts in English (Cultural Studies) and Statistics. This is my personal site - excuse the shoddy css.
Some of the things I've been up to:
- Being VP University Affairs at SSMU, the undergraduate student association at McGill, for 2024/25. The job involves advocating to McGill administration, coordinating student presence on university committees and on Senate, and pursuing various equity initiatives
- Reading and annotating the often-used, and much derided, parliamentary authority Robert's Rules of Order, Newly Revised (12th Ed.)
- Doing web design for, and running the Mastodon account of, Wild Pride, a community-lead alternative to Fierté Montreal
- Co-running a 'stop automated deadnaming' campaign at McGill, along with a colleague
- Learning stenography using a steno writer!
